We walked around Poundbury and had to find buildings that matched on our sheet, Mr Moore told us facts as we walked around like Royal Pavilion is named after one of the Queen Mother’s horses. Strathmore House idea was taken from Buckingham Palace. Lewis Hamilton the F1 driver has two Penthouses here. Duchess of Cornwall Inn is a copy of the Ritz. In phase 3 of Poundbury every house has a swift brick that is monitored by the RSPB.
We ended up at Poundbury garden Centre to take part in a mural that is going to go on the wall as customers leave the garden centre.
