Art in Poundbury have organised a paint or draw outdoors Art Event in Queen Mother Square for all ages on Saturday 22nd June from 10am – 5pm.
Find buildings, statues, tiny flowers, long views, people, anything! Bring your family as everyone can join in.
Make as many images as you like – then choose your best to go forward for judging.
Free for Under 16s (register in person on the day)
£5 to register for adults (online or in person on the day)
Bring paper/canvas and materials to create your artwork.
Artists will be on hand to offer advice. You might want chairs, clipboards and a
picnic!
10am-12am Register in the Jubilee Hall, Poundbury
Return your entry to Jubilee Hall. Under 16s before 1.45pm, adults between 3 – 3.45pm.
Judging and prize giving shortly after each deadline. All artwork to be collected by 4.30pm.
Prizes
Two adult categories (Established artists/Enthusiast artists): 1 st prize £125, Runner up £75
Two junior categories (Under 16, Under 12) 1 st prize £25 Herrings Art voucher + watercolour set
Runner up £15 Herrings Art voucher + watercolour set
All 6 winners will also receive a professionally created giclee print of their image plus 36
greetings cards, your artwork will be exhibited at Pips Café in July and the opportunity to exhibit work in our Christmas exhibition in the Jubilee Hall.
