On Friday 22nd September is ‘No Car Day.’ No Car Day will be celebrated across the world to highlight the effects cars are having on climate change and air quality.
To celebrate we are encouraging children to Bling your Bike! Children can decorate their scooter or bike in the theme of ‘colour’ and bring them into school where a parade will take place just for Damers children in the courtryard.
Dorchester Transport Action Group (DTAG) with support from Dorchester Town Council and Sustrans have organised a No Car Day Event at Acland Road Carpark, opposite Waitrose Multi Store Carpark Entrance on Friday 22nd September 2023. Please go down after school till 5pm and join in with the mnay activities they have put on that include street art, street football, King Ramp skateboarding, crazy cycle circus and other activities.
